By car from Barcelona

The most convenient way to get to La Roca Golf is by car, especially if you’re bringing your own equipment. From central Barcelona it’s around 30 minutes on the AP-7 towards Girona, taking exit 12a (Cardedeu). From there, the club gate is just a couple of minutes along the La Roca to Cardedeu road.

The course is at Km 4.5 of that road, the one that links the towns of La Roca del Vallès and Cardedeu. If you’re using GPS, simply enter “La Roca Golf” or the full address and it will take you right to the door. Want to check what a round costs first? One perk for drivers: the club has ample free parking for players, right beside the clubhouse. You park, grab your clubs and two minutes later you’re on the first tee.

By train and public transport

Yes, you can reach La Roca Golf without a car, something that’s rarely mentioned. The nearest train station is Cardedeu, on the R2 Nord Rodalies de Catalunya line, the same one that connects the airport with Maçanet-Massanes through central Barcelona.

The train stops at Barcelona-Sants and Passeig de Gràcia, so you can board right in the city centre. The journey to Cardedeu takes around 40 minutes. Since frequencies vary by time and day, it’s best to check the live timetables on the Rodalies website before you set off.

And here’s the perk almost nobody mentions: Cardedeu station is practically next to the course. About 5 minutes by taxi, or roughly a 15-minute walk to the clubhouse, a short, pleasant stroll across the grounds before you tee off. For a car-free golf plan, you’d be hard pushed to do better.

From the airport (Barcelona and Girona)

If you’re coming from abroad, La Roca Golf is one of the best-connected courses to the region’s airports.

From Barcelona-El Prat airport (BCN) it’s about 40 minutes by car. This is the usual choice for the international golfer: you land, pick up a hire car and you’re playing in under an hour. The airport is also on the same R2 Nord line that runs through Cardedeu.

From Girona-Costa Brava airport (GRO), a little further north, the club is around 45 minutes by car on the AP-7. A great alternative if you’re pairing your golf break with a few days on the Costa Brava. If you’re planning the whole trip, our Barcelona golf guide for tourists will help.

A note for keen golfers: along that same AP-7, about 30 minutes to the north, sits Camiral (formerly PGA Catalunya Resort), confirmed host of the 2031 Ryder Cup. La Roca Golf lies halfway between Barcelona and one of the great stages of European golf in the coming decade.

Golf and more: you’re right next to La Roca Village

A detail that makes all the difference if you travel with company: La Roca Golf is literally next to La Roca Village (some 500 metres away), one of the best-known outlet shopping centres in Catalonia.

While you play your round, anyone with you who doesn’t play golf can spend the morning shopping. Afterwards, you meet up for lunch. It’s the perfect blend of sport and leisure, and one of the reasons so many visitors choose this corner of the Vallès.
